View and modify user folder location

Microsoft Windows XP uses a lot of folders for each user. Everything from “My video” to your personal documents folder. Below is where you can view the locations of these folders and can change them.

1. Start Regedit.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\Shell Folders
3. Right click on the folders and select Modify
4. Change the path to a new path if you want to change the path.
5. Reboot your computer.
